Wild Horse Jasper Pendant 002

Authentic Wild Horse Jasper Pendant.
This beautiful, colorful stone is called Wild Horse Jasper. It gets its name from its similarity to the spotted and dappled layers of wild horses. It is also known as Wild Horse Magnesite, alluding to its mineral composition.
The most unmistakable element of Wild Horse Jasper is its complex design. These patterns can take on different structures, like mottled spots, streaming lines, and intricate web-like designs. Each piece is totally unique, making it a favorite for jewelry and art projects.
Wild Horse Jasper was discovered in the mid-90’s near the Globe copper mine in the Gila wilderness area of southern Arizona and only comes from there. This stone was purchased from a reputable dealer at the Reno Gem Show.
The silversmith, which is all sterling silver, is done in-house and stamped with my unique ‘Wave Horse’ logo. My logo represents my love of surfing and horses.
Care: Like turquoise, wild horse jasper is a porous stone and should be handled with care. Keep this piece away from chemicals, lotions, etc. Use a soft cloth to clean the stone and silver.
